The Church of England and the Ethics of Taxation
When I was asked to contribute a chapter on Anglican thinking to a book on Christian ethics and taxation, I imagined that a trawl through the proceedings of General Synod, augmented with a little research in the literature of theology and economics, would furnish me with plenty of material. But I was wrong (see Brown ,2025 – this article is a much shortened version of that chapter, with additional material from other contributors to the book).
