Lincoln Harvey describes Robert Jenson and his theology repeatedly as ‘odd’ (63, 102, 159), but before we too quickly assume that Harvey is being dismissive, he admits that he seeks to ‘give Jenson a fair hearing’ (13). Through Harvey’s intriguing reconstruction and analysis, it becomes evident that the epithet ‘odd’ is not a defect but an asset of Jenson’s theology.
