Editorial: Women and Gender
One of the delights of working with women theologians is the sense of community that often comes through conversation. This is due to the intrinsic value that is placed on story and experience in this growing field of research. Every article in this issue of Crucible, where we explore lives of women and the changing world of gender and religion, has been birthed from generous conversation. The stories shared are rich and personal and several of our contributors have taken risks in their articles, recognising that by sharing our vulnerabilities and ‘daring greatly’ (to borrow a phrase from Brené Brown’s book of the same name), we can help one another to reflect deeply and discover flourishing for ourselves and society.
